Restaurant „Zum Holzwurm“ – the innovative inn Culinary delights in Flachau in the Province of Salzburg

At the family-run „Zum Holzwurm“ restaurant and inn the culinary specialities are prepared by the owner Willi and his daughter Theresa personally. After her apprenticeship and work experience in the best restaurants in Salzburg, Vienna, London and of course by Dad Willi’s side in the Holzwurm, Theresa has taken over as head of the kitchen in the Holzwurm. Son Daniel is currently working in London as a cocktail bartender. Brunhilde, responsible for service, lovingly looks after our guests.

We serve our guests light, regional dishes, Austrian classics, healthy vegetarian options, trout and char from the Taurach river and lamb specialities from Tauern herds. The high-quality meat comes from our local farmers. Let us pamper you with a variety of home-baked strudels and desserts. Good food, Austrian wines, fine schnapps and a small selection of cigars will make your visit a rounded experience.
